Book Reading With Ms. Veta Pauline Burton...
The video is Veta Pauline Burton (VPB) reading, "A Friend," a children's books. She read this on the book launch. Ms. Pauline is a long-time family friend. When I visited her last year in August, she read the manuscript and the book came to life. Ms. Pauline is 95 years and 6 months young.

My children love this book! It is colorful and very easy to read! I love the concept of Packy and Hammy becoming friends after getting off to a bad start. Kudos Marsha!
A Friend in Ohio
What a cute book. Even though the characters are animals, it is very related for kids. It is a story that kids can relate to. Whether it’s Hammy or Packy, all children have probably experienced a situation where they know they could have been a better friend or they experienced mean behavior from someone. The ending is happy and filled with lessons about friendship and animal facts. Great for 1st to 2nd grade and a read aloud or self.
